NEW SLIDING EXPERIENCE ON SNOW
This self initiated project was aiming to showcase the capabilities of the design studio to understand and answer the need of the Decathlon brand, wed’ze.
This innovative snow skate concept use a new flexible grip system inspired from the children construction game called Clipo.
The Clipo-board aim to provides safe sensations in the snow, similar to skateboarding. It can be used both on flat surfaces or down a hill.
The flexible Clipo fixation system allows both strong grip but with a lots of movement freedom in regards to the feet position, it is also a strong iconic design element that can be used for branding and product differentiation.
The board deck is elevated thanks to a 3 dimensional carbon sole in order to allow jumps and a large panel of tricks.
Three different kinds of shoes grip can be used with the clipboard, according to the user level and preferences.
