Flexible and human centered interior design
The office of the start-up German Autolabs was designed to meet the needs for flexibility required by a fast-growing start-up but also to foster a sense of cohesion between teams that can sometimes be lost when a company grows rapidly.
After a first iteration initiated internally with the German Autolabs design team, the project moved later toward a great collaboration with two freelance designers, Clementine Caurier and Joao Gonçalves. As head of design for German Autolabs, Rémi Bigot was in charge of selecting the partner designers, defining the brief, the design orientation and of the project management. Clementine Caurier and Joao Gonçalves created the final design.
The results is a user-centered design which establishes a coherent organization by productivity area. The interior focuses on well-being at work with acoustic comfort, optimized brightness, and green energy provided by the plants that enhances productivity. The use of wood, fabrics and colors gives a warm and human atmosphere to the different spaces.
The landmarks are collective spaces designed to create cohesion and exchange between the different teams.

Boxes made of wood and ecological isolation materials are designed to ensure acoustic and thermal comfort, they enable the creation of areas for meetings, tests and furnish the space. Removable boards can be moved from one room to another for greater flexibility and functional optimization.
